Alba PCB Group: Eco-Friendly PCB Production with Green Energy

Alba PCB Group has made a choice of respect for the environment, convinced that today a company must have a far-sighted vision of sustainability and respect for nature.

For more than 10 years we have turned to an energy supplier that produces only from hydroelectric power, despite the higher cost, with a view to reducing carbon dioxide emissions.

We have now chosen to take a further step in reducing the ecological impact of our production by installing the largest possible photovoltaic system on the roof of our production plant in Mogliano Veneto (Treviso – Italy): a power of 250kW for an estimated production of 320,000 kWh of clean energy per year.

Thanks to these 1,164 m2 of solar panels, we will avoid the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere that would have been released with thermoelectric energy production:
• 224 kg of Sulphur Dioxide
• 275 kg of Nitrogen Oxides
• 15 kg of dust
• 178 tonnes of carbon dioxide

We consider this an investment that follows the company’s green vision, in the direction of doing business while trying to preserve the environment in which we live, to hand it over in better conditions to future generations.
