The electrical test flying – the new ATG A9 flying probe
The increasing miniaturisation of electronic boards and the need to test prototypes and small quantities in rapid and safe way, has led us to further strengthen our testing department by investing in a latest-generation flying probe electrical tester. The ATG-A9 is one of the fastest and most accurate machines on the market.
Through the movement of 8 heads, on which the electrical probes are positioned, it performs a total check of the PCB, using combined testing techniques to offer coverage in the search for errors:
• Continuity test
• Insulation test
• High voltage test
• 4-wire Kelvin test (optional)
• Micro short detection
The test programme runs on the points indicated by a program compiled directly from the gerber files, for reliable and total control on the PCB.
